1. Southern Sayin’s Greeting Cards - Mallory Smith

These gave me a good ol’ chuckle. That’s all I have to say about that.

    Work by Mallory Smith.

  2. Josh Finklea

Incredibly beautiful design work from LA-based skateboarder-turned-designer, Josh Finklea. He has worked and studied in Amsterdam, as well as LA, so you can definitely spot the clean, European influence in his work. His hand screened French New Wave booklet/poster is a personal favorite of mine. Lord knows I’m a sucker for halftones and overlays.

  3. Volkswagon Logo Buses

I think Crave needs a VW bus.

Check out CarType for a look at some beautiful type and logos painted on classic Volkswagon buses built from 1949 to 1967.

    Originally from VintageBus.

  4. Fear.Less - Jordan Metcalf and Daniel Ting Chong

To show the crime happening in South Africa, Jordan Metcalf and Daniel Ting Chong collaborated and created these awesome pieces to display on the wall of an art gallery.

“The objects seek to playfully examine the place of fear and crime in South Africa, framing our obsession with violence and the casual paranoia we all seem to suffer from. By scaling the objects and turning them into artworks, the artists aim to re-contextualize the place these items hold in our everyday lives.”

I kind of want to rip them off the wall, rub some ink on them and pull huge prints of these for the hell of it.

Check these guys out. Found on Behance.

  5. Liz Collini — The Master of Patience

check out her work here. i mean come on.

There are gaps and overlaps between reading and viewing, text and image, the hand and the machine. I try to create breathing spaces in which we can pause and look back at language.

  6. Bureau Rabensteiner - Meier Seefeld Identity System

Based in Innsbruck, Austria, Bureau Rabensteiner is a sophisticated and beautiful design agency, that created an aesthetically intriguing identity system for Meier Seefeld.

“Meier Seefeld is a women´s clothing boutique set in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains. The identity was designed to convey understated luxury in a comfortable atmosphere to both visitors and locals. The notion of traditional alpine winter sport chic is combined with a modern perspective on fashion and the zeitgeist of the village Seefeld.” via

I’ll always have a weakness for black and white design.

  7. 15 Years VIB

Have you ever wondered what you could do with a giant wall and chalkboard paint? The people over at Soon utilized these simple mediums to create some really nice pieces to go along with the 15th year anniversary for a life science research institute. For something so boring to most audiences, they managed to come up with a beautiful and far from boring solution. They designed for an event and nine books.

    Seen on Behance.

    Enjoy.

  8. Mike McQuade - Tom, Dick & Harry Business Cards

All I have to say about these is that they are beautiful and well-structured and I wish I had a client to do something like this for.

Check out more of Mike McQuade’s work here.

I would also like to say that his entire portfolio is a perfect example of variety and versatility in a designer. Take note.

  9. Carl Zoch

The color. The color. THE COLOR!

Carl Zoch is a photographer from Oklahoma City. His shots are to die for. The color correction and style of his shots are immaculate. I really want to know what he shoots with and how he post-processes. His light metering is flawless. I can’t tell if he shoots at a high ISO to get the beautiful graininess or if he does that in post. Regardless, it adds such a human and intimate feel to each photograph.

    Check him out!
